the compromised things the....."King Prawn never stop touring in their punk rock transit van, festivals, European tours, they're one of the very hardest working bands. back in the mid 90's before there was a goddamn ska punk band on every street corner King Prawn were playing on Organ bills at places like the Monarch, The Garage and the Bull&Gate as well as enjoying lots of coverage/support from us here at Organ zine . Back in those buzzing early days most of their releases were with Bristol label Words Of Warning although you will find some tasty live tracks on the ORGAN RADIO ONE compilation CD as well as a track on the ORGAN RADIO 4 TRANSIT VANS ARE PEACHY CD - the free compilation CD given out on the King prawn/Cynical Smile/Dog Toffee Organ tour we put together in 1998.

And it's just been brough to our attention that King Prawn are to play their last ever show on DECEMBER 20th 2003 at the Forum in London... bye bye King Prawn, the early days and all those Organ shows to five people were fun
