Things
were coming together nicely for Cheese Cake Truck back in the year 2000.
The Truck landed here from Norway, they were all living in a house in London
and playing an exciting mix of progressive new metal that mixed a theatrical
approach with a certain twisted pronkoid punky bite – think Mr. Bungle,
System Of A Down, Faith No More, Dillinger Escape Plan, Cardiacs... A Truck
gig was a pretty unique event - it was safe to say they were not your typical
band, there was a little more going on here thanthee was with your average
band, they were building quite an underground reputation. Well that's what
we were saying back in the year 2000/01 - then the Truck went to that place
where bands go, that place that only bands themselves understand. You spend
a fortune pressing records and supporting a band then the band just stops...
LAST TIME WE HEARD THERE WERE RUMOURS OF A NEW LINE UP OVER AT THE STRAIGHT OUT OF CLAPTON WEBSITE..... but that came to nothing
