MUST GO! SONIC PORNOGRAPHY
True. Mammal. Immoral. Dangerous, twenty first century street rock that heralds from that most infamous American Gulag - East Oakland.
East Bay music scene royalty, and featuring members of Neurosis, Strychnine and Christ on Parade. Fronted by the most handsomely devilish Darwinist degenerate ever to strap fireworks to his chest and dive into the audience. The live show is a raging sexualistic endurance test. It commands attention with an inflammatory cocktail of confrontation and the impenetrable seductive power of self-humiliation. Anything can happen.
Birthed into the world in the year 2000 A.D. of its own naked will. Everything Must Go take an unflinching look at the most troubling social issues of the world today: War, Drug Abuse, Terrorism, Vehicular Man Slaughter... but from the perspective of “I do that.” or “I am the cause of said problem.” Nihilism is offered up as the only answer, but not a solution. No solution is offered.
The debut recording, an album called “Apocalipstick”, was released on Dead Teenager records in 2001, 6 months after forming the band. Wreaking havoc and leavening a legacy of broken bones, in a trail of broken bottles, the band toured the western U.S. in ‘01 and ‘02 and did their first European tour in 2003. A new single will be out on August 16th 2004 on London underground label ORG. Singles are in stock and being sent out to those who have ordered them right now...
You can’t win. You¹re already implicated. Burn this bio. Everything Must Go.
ARE THEY TODAY?
2007 - they're ready with a new album, busy blasting things on the US West Coast, sounding better than ever - we love this band!

head punk rock craziness. Everything Must Go will roll over you like a

THE DWARVES, FANG, DEAD BOYS, ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN and ANTISEEN. Just
punk, drunk, get rowdy, punk rock and kick ass roll." -Toxic Flyer Fanzine
"The decadent live rock energy and sick guitar playing clinch it for me." – Maximum Rock ‘n Roll
"Apocalipstick zips by in an intoxicated blur, with sleazy guitar solos, manic vocals and pounding punk-rock beats leaving a well-marked trail of sonic destruction" - Backfire
"One of my new favourite bands, EMG is a blaze of explosions, sweat, and blood. The best glue-sniffing, beer-swilling, danger-is-their-middle-name band out of the East Bay!" -Jesse / Shredding Paper
"This sweats energy, Punk and Rock 'n' Roll." – Pull The Chain.
"This fine release from our friends at Dead Teenager calls to mind the classic good stuff like the MISFITS and BLACK FLAG. Jake Breath barks out a fine collection of Rollins-approved anthems like "Flesh Salad" (with some great open guitar voicings adding depth to the music). "Play With Knives" and "Don't Touch My Glue Bag" reminds me of great old FLAG stuff like "Damaged". Totally recommended!" - Peacedogman
"I love you man! You give every f**kin' gig a hundred percent and I love you!" - Deenamite, The Grannies
"Everything Must Go's singer, Jake, is a madman who you never know what he'll do next. At this show he lit off a bunch of fireworks which smoked up the entire club, broke a pint glass and lit candle, and busted his head open causing him to go straight to the Emergency Room to get 7 stitches after the show. The owner told me the police came complaining about the noise, and I heard the fire marshall came (?). I took lots of pictures, and the photo lab has lost them!" - Alisha Amnesia, www.coolgrrls.com
"Everything Must Go bullies its way across a teeter-tottering rock'n'roll playground stained by the blood of punk, then sets it afire with vocals reminiscent of a young Henry Rollins in one of his more apocalyptic moods." - Willamette Week
